"I made this image after the morning shot of East Liverpool Ohio when I realized I could capture the nice pink of the sunrise. It was truly one of my best images because it took so long for perfection. I made the trip to Midland Pa for five years trying to capture that nice pink coming out of the cooling towers in the early morning. I managed to capture that image very early as the sun
was just coming over the hills on the river and it created that wonderful color."
